Assael led a complete design team in competing for the regeneration of abandoned docklands in Waterford, Ireland. The brief required detail design of a venue building for cultural, trade and sports uses. The 7 hectare site is long and narrow with one and a half miles of river frontage. It is also very prominent, located directly across from Waterford Town Centre.
