This £16 million residential development is located in Manchester's
Central Conservation Area. The scheme comprises a Grade II Listed
Building and an adjoining glass fronted 1960s Building that had
become redundant as office space. The re-use of the building was
made possible by the insertion of two sets of overtly modern glass
and steel bridges into the existing lightwells of the listed building.
These act as circulation atria, freeing up critical floorspace for
residential accommodation.
